At Honeybee we create learning environments that capture your child’s imagination.

Our mud kitchen is nestled amongst native grasses.

At honeybee preschool we choose quality materials : these bamboo blocks are not only sustainable but allow children to create.

Our vegetable patch is a peaceful space, where we grow and share our produce.

Our chickens - Tammy, Faye and Nuggets help us engage with nature and learn the value of looking after living creatures.

At Honeybee we choose quality literacy resources and work with LMCC library to create an extensive reading area.

Family and Community engagement is important here at honeybee. Currently we are trying to complete a community puzzle.

At honeybee we have an art studio space , filled with authentic resources. This space allows children to communicate ideas, theories and understandings.

EYLF OUT COMES

1. Children have a strong sense of identity
Children develop their emerging autonomy, inter-dependence, resilience and sense of agency While becoming knowledgeable and confident.

Children become socially responsible and show respect for the environment. At honeybee we have an initiative called from our yard, where children and families share the produce that they have grown at home.

Children are encouraged to explore nature and engage with nature

Children develop dispositions for learning such as curiosity, cooperation, confidence, creativity, commitment, enthusiasm, persistence, imagination and reflexivity as they engage with open ended loose parts

Language is developed through storytelling, drama and art.
